It is still raining here, off and on, so it looks like we will be staying home. I am sitting here reloading all of our programs on the computer. We were having lots of crashes etc. so we reformatted. Ugh! At least Alan did the reformatting and inital installation of windows and the other essential programs (printer etc.). Now I am adding all of the non essential programs that I use regularly. It isn't hard but takes time as you all know. Right now I am waiting for a Netscape download. It seems to be taking a long time. Jim and I prefer Netscape and Alan prefers Internet Explorer. I have lots more to go but I hope this solves our problems on this computer. Oh no, my download just timed out without finishing. I guess I get to start over again with that download.

Marcia,
It didn't take you long to post after I sent the invite!! I guess we were online together. I'm glad we don't have your weather. I'll take my rain anyday.
Love, Donna

I hope the Holiday was good for everyone. We had a quiet Christmas, but Santa was good to us! After Alan went to work we went to visit Kym at her grand opening. We took her some dinner and stayed to watch a movie. A movie on Christmas day is a first for us.

Jim is off work all this week, until the 2nd, but I worked yesterday and today and will also work next Monday. If the weather is good enough we would like to fly somewhere for the weekend. It doesn't look promising as it has started to rain this evening. We'll have to wait and see.

Hi Everyone! Everything is going fine here in Maine. We had snow that stayed finally, about 8 inches total so far. Roads are clear. Christmas shopping is all done, but "I" still have to wrap some stuff. We will have Marcia's Aunt Betty, and her daughter Dorothy's family here for dinner. It is a yearly thing. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to read and add comments here often. Hello to EVERYONE!

Love, Bill

GRR.. I just had this big long post written up - and I pushed the wrong button. To sum up... I love having a car, Christmas will be quiet, and I need to work christmas day from 1800-close at the theater. If I dont post in a long time, email me to remind me to post!

Today I decide to get this Blog started. I have been thinking about it for quite some time. I am so terrible about keeping in touch the way I want to. I hope that this makes it easier for everyone to keep abreast of the family news. I will try my best to post regularly. Please post even mundane everyday stuff. Just post often.

Today we had a very nice Christmas program at church. The choir performed a beautiful series of songs with narration between. (I am in the choir.)

I am actually ready for Christmas! Yea!! We will be having a quiet Christmas this year. Becky and Jason will be staying in Oklahoma, Alan has to be to work by 2pm Christmas Day, and Kym's new theater is having their Grand Opening on Christmas Day. At least we will have a little time together.
